亥・・・猪 The wild boar
問春　【monshun】（Call for spring）

明の詩人”高啓”はうたう。
春に問う、おまえはどこからきてどこにいるのかと
梅の花は咲いたが返事なし。
明け方になって、鳥がさえずり、ここだよと答えてくれた。

猪は口を開け、春に問いかける。
春はどこからくるの？

Chinese poet of the Min era sings.
To spring I ask.
When will I find you and from where will you come?
The plum flowers blossomed, but gave no reply.
Early dawn, the birds sang to announce the spring arrival.

To spring the wild boar opens its mouth to ask
From where do you come?

無二　　［muni］(Matchless)

首をもたげるイノシシ。
人生も、出会いも別れも、またいまのこの一瞬も、二つとない。
「有無代者」とはお経の言葉。家族を思うのも、友を慕うのも、
仕事をするのも本人にしかできないことがある。やはり「無二」。
イノシシは二つとない人生を想う。

A wild bore raises its head.
Life, the people that you meet, the moment – there is no other.

東風　　[touhu, kochi] (East wind)

猪は天を仰いで雨を待つ
春になると恵みの雨をもたらす東風に変わる。
春の訪れの兆し、梅が咲く、匂いおこせよ・・・。

A wild boar looks up the sky waiting for the rain.
The spring brings the eastern wind, which brings the blessed rain.
Sign of spring, plum flower blossoms, smell the sweetness….
