花心 [hanagokoro] (Elegant mind)

｢カシン｣と読めば花の中心を指し
｢はなごころ｣と読めば、風流な心をいう。
うさぎは巣穴を出て聞き耳を建てる。
コロナの猛威に、砲撃の音に、
春はまだかと巣穴に戻る。

Rabbits leave their burrows and listen.
To the fury COVID-19,
to the sound of artillery fire,
"Spring hasn't come yet."
The rabbit returns to its burrow.

有心 [ushin] (The heart which appreciate gracefulness)

塞いでは政事を聞かず
垂れては経済を論ぜず
うさぎよ！耳をたてよ、風を聞け
そして声をあげよ

時に　アートの海へ・・・有心


Close not your (left) ear to world politics
Low-set not your (right) ear and remain indifferent to the economy
Rise, rabbit, rise the ears and listen to the blowing wind
Make your voice be heard

And at times submerge in the world of art... with heart

卯･･･兎　　Rabbit, Hare
妙　[miyou]　(Strange， Excellent)

兎がうずくまっている。妙なる柔らかな毛。
バブルのはじけた今日、じっと耐えるか？
眼は、未来を見据える。希望にみちて

The rabbit sits crouched.
How curiously soft its hair.
The economic bubble has burst – is it enduring the pain?
But its yes look straight ahead, filled with hope.
